EXTENSOR TENDONITIS HELP
I have had pain/inflammation in my right foot on the tendons of the 2nd/3rd toes. My (latest) physio said this was due to my overpronation and my big toe having limited range of motion, therefore those 2nd/3rd tendons were compensating.
The pain has eased after one week but I definitely cannot run yet. ( I could barely walk on it a week ago!) I am sceptical of this physio as in the first 5 minutes she was trying to sell me a £400 biomechanics assessment and custom orthotics - it was more of a sales pitch than a physio appointment. Can anyone help with ideas about strengthening these tendons / shoe advice etc? Thanks! x
