Yesterday's lyrics - The Winner Takes It All by Abba.

Ale - looks like you need more cake and beer judging by that photo. I've probably said it before but I've not seen 8 stone 7 since junior school...

Why: I've seen the light
Last hard: 2 weeks ago (and no more until at least January)
Last rest: Sunday
Dibs: Your treadmill session sounded a tad tough; I hope those lyrics aren't a requiem for your veruca.
LMH: Hopefully the course measures accurately, even if it's a few metres out, first lady is still a great achievement. Was the prize for first lady a room in the White House out of curiosity?
Dustin: Hope club night/post-run cake goes well.
OH: Enjoy the (potential) badminton, hope it goes... goodminton (gettin' me coat).
Wabo: T'was enjoyable; did my utmost to avoid people given my hair was sticking up in an all manner of angles, guess that added to the fun. Hope the 5 miles go well.
Kentish: Hello, I sort of miss getting up at silly o'clock, though doubt I could see the light at 5.30am.
I trust the 5 miles were enjoyable.
Enjoy the rest of your day, I'm offskies.

She's a QoP chicksta. Apparently my legs are better than last time but left hamstring is tighter than the right - which is the one that feels worse to me.
Welcome Kentish.
Hope you can get the washing machine sorted OH.
More kit required so you can layer up Poppy
I think the course is going to be about 200m out as my Garmin measured 13.01 miles and that was without cutting the corners - unlike the two men in front of me and the man behind..........can't say what anyone else did. I least I know I ran the full course - whatever that turns out to be.
Any races planned Dustin?
Another lovely morning. Ran 16 miles. Legs were fine but it became obvious that there is some residual fatigue, would be surprised if it were just the half so I guess probably a combination of that and the ultra three weeks ago. Have Weston super Mare half on the 8th November so will have to start tapering again I suppose maybe one last long one on Thursday if the weather doesn't get too bad.
afternoon all
Hey Dibs! I hear you've dumped me and gone off to the antipodes? Luckily, I have a sister out there
have a good one!
Afternoon!
Dustin: unfortunately I am somewhat heavier than that photo. More than several pints heavier, in fact. Sorry, gallons.
Lyrics: no
What: relatively easy shuffle this evening
Why: yesterday was relatively hard.
And welcome Kentish! Stick around!
What's 8 stone 7 in kilos? That stone thing is something I never got... I got used to miles and inches and even those pounds that aren't proper pounds ...
Just under 54kg, Chick. Currently about 63 so would be good to get below 60 (about 9 stone 6 I believe)!
Welcome Kentish
Els is heading off for a medical conference in Fort William, WP. It's only me that's heading down to play at Fort William.
I don't think I can remember a problem with my hair sticking up!
No washing machine part here, nor is Els home from work yet (She started at 7:30 and that's part-time!)
Stay on them then AF.
Ooops WsM is the 1st - guess I'd better start tapering tomorrow then
Evening
Welcome Kentish
Dibs i don't envy you ouch
Gee Ale i weigh more How tall are you?

Hi Kentish, I was also going to say you're not seeing any light at 5:30 am...
OH is Els a doc too?
Well done for another run Pammie You're doing well at the mo
Dibs, you didn't have to go all the way to Australia to avoid AF...
Have a good one all, time for night nurse and an early night!
I'm not far off 54kg race weight is 55 but I was about a pound too heavy this time around.
Oops I meant ... it's only me that heading down to play at Llanberis!
yes Els is a doctor too (our daughters say that St Andrews Uni is a good dating agency that also offers degrees)
Rocky you make me smile with your one liners
Welcome Kentish
Yes Dustin, thats the race I was thinking about (and the girl Ale is talikg about was 3rd that day I think, she won her first one at Popham the month before)
Track session - 5 x 400 / 300 / 200 of 100m walk rec trying not to let an IBS attack hinder the efforts, but ensured a short cool down....
Take care
Evening again!
Pammie: I'm just over 5 ft 6. May discuss weight tomorrow!
What: 6.44k including 2k in the middle a little quicker than usual. Off road with head torches.
Why: something slightly different! Enjoyed by all after a little initial anxiety!
