Hello all
I've recently tried to get back into running after having a hectic two years with moving house and a couple cases of anxiety which I hope are behind me.
I think I'm a pretty healthy 34-year-old male, 72kg, 6ft and I walk an average of 14,000 steps each day
Recently I've got myself a new fitness tracker "Withings steel HR" and I've done 2 runs on it recently, both have given a very high BPM with a constant intense BPM of 165-175 for the run. When doing the run I really enjoy it, don't feel that out of breath and I think my breathing is very good!
Should I be concerned about this? It seems high and I think the tracker is working correctly
I've been back from the run now for about 5-10mins and my rest BPM is between 60-80

Unless you've done a proper max heart rate test you won't know what your levels are, or whether or not those figures are high or not.
If I were you I'd ignore the HR stuff.
Most of your runs should be done at a pace you can chat with someone at - build up the cardio fitness.
Yeah I feel good doing the run, and not out of breath that much
