Wear what ever you find most comfortable.
As for the friction burn I use a smear or two of Vaseline and find that solves the issue.
Cheers thanks for the reply, tigerlily photo to follow shortly just need to find my best angle
Nick vaseline or bodyguide will help with that you've got to protect the boys and the undercarriage. Bonus is on marathon day there is a birazze experience of being surounded by people swearing vasaline on yourself. Worth mentioning I would lube up your penis when you state doing say 15 miles or more as well trust me you don't want the shock and horror off finding a friction burn at the end off there. I'm talking from experience.
Lycra shorts help but won't necessarily solve the problem.
Luckerly you do, things can be taken different to how they where mend to sound on ye old tinterweb, was an honest answer to the question. Something like that would be a right problem and biggest fear work with specail kids and all that.
brilliant i will get the missus to apply the vaseline, might even start running every day then!!
You're not alone.
I was using banana-hammocks (cotton - a large part of the problem) to keep my junk in place, which I thought was great, until the tropical micro-climate began growing things.
Some anti-fungal cream later, I'm now using micro-fibre trunks and body-glide, and haven't had any trouble since.
