I had to clear father in law's fridge, sausages out of date along with full fat milk about to go out of date, but I took home the smoked salmon,so guess what I am having for lunch.
I met up with a cycling club last night. I bumped into someone from my running club, two people who I have no idea where I have met them before, and I got a phone number from a complete stranger
The nurses looking after Mr Steady senior describe him as "quite a character" that would be correct.
I am going to have a little nap, I have done loads of washing and been to collect a new pair of jeans ( I hate shopping for clothes). This recovery lark is hard work.
Evening. I take it the kill or cure run killed Mr. P. I'm still feeling knackered but a lot betterer, I even bought cheese today.
Feeling a bit low this eve, I'm very up and down, think it's just the cold, over wrought. I shall be fine soon. So many positive people around, I won't stay down for long.
Was talking to some one and they were talking about the emotional responsibility they feel to their grown kids. Made me think of MiL. I have been avoiding thinking about her but since D died, there is no one there for her.
Yes, I' definitely up for losing some weight. As for faster I'd just settle for running whatever the speed - but recent efforts are showing some progress.
To help maintain the 80% - in my case it's not the lack of fitness but feeling that I'm overweight that affects my confidence to be able to go out and run so it's quite important to me.
I have no idea how I've done it but my back is killing me, yay for emergency pharmacy hobble and purchase of a tens machine. I've already found the settings go up past 10
Finally got round to sorting that. I only set up 'Lincoln Runner' as a temporary name when I first registered but have been meaning to change it to my Fetch ID - and have finally done so. The Purple is for Lincoln Orienteering Group, Green for Lincoln and District Runners and Imps are Lincoln City FC.
Back is very odd and no better so off to see my lovely Physio tomorrow. I'm sure she'll be able to sort me out. I think I did it putting in my jeans on Tuesday morning.
Very mundane day here except that I have rebuilt the chicken coops, now one has 4 nest boxes so hopefully all 4 chickens will have their own space, the other coop will hopefully act as a ran shelter along with the ark that I have already built them. They have cabbages so should play nicely now.
I have been for a run, only 6 miles and mostly underwater, it has rained a bit hasn't it. Road was closed due to flooding.
Well, I need to go buy milk and something for my tea.

Morning! Happy New Year!
I had my first shot on New Year's Eve - it was a brain haemorrhage, and it was actually very nice. That was the most alcohol I'd had all year.
I need to clear out the fridge. It smells very strongly of cheese.

I'm not sure why you need to clean out the fridge Bookie, surely smelling strongly of cheese is a good thing?
Strangely I have just cleared out my fridge too
If you need a actual photo sure sarah can sort one.

Morning all and Happy New Year...hope it's a great one for all of us.
14 days to Oz (makes me feel all of these......mainly cos LMF will be leaving us for a year...)
I hope this year to get fitter (so, so, so unfit at the minute) and finally lose some weight...and to get a better handle on our finances.
I was interviewing at work today. I might have a new bitch soon
I hope this year to get fitter and get faster GFB. I think a little weight loss would not go amiss either.
I also want to be more organised and a lot tidier.

i am either pregnant .... (Not a chance) or I put on 5-6lbs over xmas
Are you driving round with your top off BT?
Afternoon!
I'd have to say that 80% of the conversations I have are about weight. The rest are about food
I'm hoping to get faster too. And get some muscle back.

I hope your back is feeling better today AliBear. Back injuries are far too easy. My Mum slipped a disc putting some tights on.
I have a headache.
I'm still at work, and I may need an evening visit to A&E to check out my foot.
A trip to A&E is hardly Mundane Becks!
It is when you have to wait SC.
Just had a very creepy email on match. I reported it.
I need to blow my nose. It isn't on my list of things to do but it's rapidly going up the list.
*Offers KJ a hankie*
I've just washed my hair. It'll still be wet at bedtime.
I often do that, but I then spend about 2 hours contemplating it and it's become a late night.

Ooh, I thought we had a newbie for a moment *waves to the runner formerly known as Lincoln Runner*
Dressing is clearly a dangerous activity.
Naked winter - now there's a thought.
3 DNAs out of 3 so far today. Harrumph.
In other news, I've found a local Parkrun
