    Evening peeps I finally managed to pick up my pressie today, and I love it!!! image I got two pairs of socks with piratey skull & cross bones on then, and a wee model pirate ship that you have to make and paint!! How cool! That's my task for tomorrow image I'll take a pic once it is complete.

    Oh and the pressie was beautifully wrapped, with lovely ribbons too. Thanks so much SS, whoever you are image

    I've been out all day and got back to card from the postman to say there is a parcel waiting for me that was too big for my letter box.  I will pick it up on Monday. image  Thank goodness he didn't leave it with the neighbours. image

    Trouble is, beebs, that you'll not really know for sure, as they don't know it's necessarily from you, so can hardly pop in and say they loved it. I'm sure you're fretting unecessarily, as you don't seem the type to buy a bad present. That fact that you are fretting just goes to prove my point.

    I know what you mean, Kwilter! I'm not sure I'd have the (s)elf control to hang onto a present this long!

    Not yet...we've dusted and tidied the lounge, just having lunch then onwards and upwards with the decorating. I've written the round robin letter to distant cousins though. image

    I think I should go and whizz round the sitting room with a damp cloth and a shovel, I'm hoping to get the trees when J gets home from work. I will do the tasteful one in the sitting room and the kids can do the bold one in the dining room. Must add sherry to the shopping list and dig out the carol cd.

    Well whoever my SS is, I LOVE them!

    I have LOADS of pressies! Including Gin, snacks (useful for X factor final and won't last long) and some GAWJUSS pirate tishoos with a pot of moisturiser and some lip smacking balm!

    Just to clarify - I would prefer to open my present on Christmas Day due to me being superstitious (and ever so slightly OCD) about these things.

    However, I may consider bowing to public pressure, but would then spend the whole of next year worried that either Jr or The Cat would fall from their perch in the tree of life

    Well for what it's worth I have opened my present and it(they) are great. A very useful pencil case-those who know me will know it will get lots of use- a towel a pack of willy warmers and some chocolate image
