While I'm rambling (lurking figures are pretty high so I guess a lot of people are interested) - spare a thought for the crew, who are getting pretty exhausted too.

+1 to that Jj. I know from Avon Tyrell and watching the support crews for those doing the Triple and more, that they had just as rough a time as those taking part
I never said "walking is for pussies" ... what I said is that I run very slow, and I walk even slower... so i gots to run as much as I can.
The best memory for me so far (still two days to go)
is the first day, and this white van, completely packed full of shit, with a naseba logo half assedly stuck to the side of the van, thus its not on straight, and its slanting...looks like absolute shit.
the van driven by some Paki goes flying by ...
suddenly it comes to a screeching halt and two "large" white men basically fall out of it with massive camera's in the hands and or around their neck both with cigarettes in their mouths...
this basically happens all day long.
but awesome "large" white guys. amazing crew, and amazing photographers. day 6 is about to begin - thank you for your support

I wondered if he was still having trouble from those injuries or if he was in so much pain generally it was hard to identify what was what.
Oxy says: 'In general he isn't in bad shape. But he is obviously in a lot of pain.'
Speaking as an Englishwoman, Scott - you're doing quite well, all things considered.

Am I missing something here? Is this acceptable language in the UAE?
It certainly isn't where I'm from...
amazing stuff Scott, stay strong and focused
Great Stuff Scott, sadly haven't managed to get along to see you, work is a pain!
Jamie: Welcome to the non PC UAE.
were the two big white men with fags in their mouths Candy and Oxy?!
And for that politically correct genius, who has such little to do that he needs to moan about nothing,
at least their paki driver is driving them well now.
I guess the forum is fortunate mohamed isnt from nigeria.
*'just' = 02:40 - but I only just turned my phone on. There have been no follow ups to say that Scott has been blown into the next emirate...
I don't have a time yet, but it's irrelevant really, isn't it.
HUGE congratulations, and the most luxurious of bubblebaths for you, Scott.
