is it smackdown time then?
I have done one swim this year, so feel over trained
In fact I need to try and find my wetsuit
I smacked down 28th June, that'll do for me this year
Its good that Outlaw have these support events if you can call them that. Will be along to cheer all competing. Might dust off the pirate megaphone
I thought Schmunks had swallowed it?
I haven't really told my 14yr old son....sorry reminded him that we are doing this next Sunday.
Can someone give me a heads up as to what time this starts and roughly how long we are out there for. Im going to break it to him....sorry remind him later so a little bit of info may calm the strop
we're usually there setting up at 6/6.30 ? first bikes come through about 8 (?) and we're done by 3pm ? something like that
there will be tea and bacon butties if that helps with the negotiations PR
Thanks Fraggle,
The Tea & Bacon will defo add to the negotiations, although ill keep them up my sleeve.
Pipram - did you not get my reply to your email. It was sent on 25 June. Happy to re-send if it's not arrived
EP - Barlos and I are relaxed in how we organise the Feed Station and so a lot of the arrangements will be made at the campsite on Saturday evening when everyone is together
Does anyone know what the situation is with The BrIdge (?) pub. Has it re-opened yet?
Just had this info through from OSB

FF - not too fussed where it is if I am honest; just thought I would start the discussion rolling

This year we will have 2 vans at the Feed Station and we need to get them there on Sunday morning
I have told Barlos he is taking one of them , and it would be great if I could have a volunteer to drive the other. Would anyone be willing to help on this score? Please let me know. Cheers
Schmunkee - Sorry yes i think i got the email, cannot find it now could you send it again, thanks
Pipram - email sent to a hotmail address
Those that rode to the feed station last year did you cycle along the bike route itself ?
I'm in a relay doing the swim then was going to cycle the 16 miles to the feed station - is that allowed / possible ?
Delurks
mmmmmm....cakes with glazed cherries
Once you are out of HPP, it on open roads isn't it - so cycling should no problem.
FF - can't say I noticed that particular barmaid
I was debating chucking the bike in too for transport - given it will be the only time I've touched it in the whole of July prior to Ride London which follows this!!
*puts Barlos on Portaloo cleaning duties
