no hugs for me please - i came off my bike twice yesterday and my shoulder is agony! It was very funny at the time, especially as Mr. Puff waas checking my waterproofs for tears as opposed to checking my skin and bones, but I ache rather badly now.
shock to the system of the weekend - a picture of a hot and sweaty puff struggling round Flora light. Three very bad things about this image a) It was in the sunday mercury, which is a Birmingham based regional paper (big) b) I looked like death warmed up - again c) the two girls in front of me looked relaxed, happy and didn't have to wear industrial scaffolding round their boobs
Just had yummy pub lunch of chilli jacket with cheese - not a lot of work to do around here at the mo so we did a bit of team bonding (careful!) in the pub
PT implausibly excited about the BBC thing - and turns out one of her other PT clients is a Beeb producer so she's mentioning my name on a "can't do any harm" basis
Also seemed disturbingly confident that I would be fine doing dark satire
hmmmmm
which given she only hears my light chit chat on the treadmill is mildly disturbing
Semi-serious question here... What are everybodies opinion on food combining diets? You know the type; don't mix carbohydrate with protein etc. Almost got into an arguement about it on health + injury yesterday as the science behind it is complete bunkem. Anyone had any positive stories though?
I can't possibly provide you with any positive stories, monky. i mean any diet that tells you you have to separate roast potatoes from a roast dinner has got to be naff really, hasn't it?
yeah, I just had someone yesterday explaining to me how the human digestive system works and that certain things couldn't be digested togther due to pH. I challenged them about their ideas and they told me that it was a scientific FACT because they had learnt about it during there GCSE's! Resisted the urge to tell them what I do for a living coz I didn't want to sound mean!
Hurrah! finally got round to casahing in my voucher for surfing that my brother gave me.
i can now feel a cop out coming on - offer to pay for half of his surfing lesson as a birhtday present (he must have spent a fortune on me - i nearly fell voer when they told me what his discounted cost was going to be!)
Comments
so no bad thoughts at all!

remember
a) all plodding babes are top
b) most of Birmingham could not walk 5 k
c) it's the right time of year for a nice pear
((( Puff )))
flr is, of course, perfectly correct on all three counts
just seen Tim Yeo on tv speaking against the proposed anti-hunting bill
can I remind people (again) that he is NO RELATION and I deplore his misuse of the name
especially if, like me, you shared a room with him on a recent choir trip
I've never heard snoring and farting like it
and he complained about ME
thanks for the very gentle hug, Yeo. i'm sure it's helping.
just rmembered that i had monkfish for dinner last night with a very scrummy lobster sauce
<starts chasing monkfish round the forum with a large copper pan>
come and try this nice lemon sauce...
<goes and raids the forum biccie tin instead>
anyway, i heard that monkfish is a bit tough when it gets old )

Am supposed to be doing a diet diary for a friend this week - am having to count how many flying saucers I've eaten
8 so far! Fat free you know!

well done on the L
how d'you get on with PT?
get aches and pains sorted?
just been over to the snog thread - they bowdlerised the title a while ago - I commented on it when I first noticed
was odd cos they had left the bu&&er up there for so long without comment
but am getting that "need tea and biscuits" feeling now
PT also told me to try to keep off the pooter...yeah right
Flying saucers that is!
The word "need" is meant in its strictest form eh Fleur!
