Did a 13m run Saturday felt fine then while walking Monday morning my right archiles just gave way on me, applied
(RICE) never had this problem before.
Seeing physio tommorrow, but if honest I think this is serious, cannot see myself in this FLM,
just wanted to say i'm totally pissed off, gutted etc and needed to rant my frustrations. It was also a charity place so cannot defer.

BUGGER
you need to decide what you are going to do
if you didnt have Stockholm as well-id say waklk the FLM
but you dont want to be out of both
Keep the faith!
can you actually walk at the mo
just read again what you wrote
But as limping says we have all had or are having issues.
I had suspected viral pnuemonia back in Jan / Feb and knocked me well of my perch, but looks like I will be able to still run at FLM, but have had to ditch two ther maras on route inc a ultra which would have been my first.
Hope all goes well for you Scott.
I know how you're feeling as I've had a persistant knee prob.
I'll keep my fingers crossed and best of luck with recovery.
ps Feel free to rant away on here.
I will listen to the verdict with the physio tomorrow and see how it is by friday.
If i can do this, 13m will be my longest run, I think i may even take the jog walk approach
Thanks everyone for the support.
er, maybe you should go to A and E
i hope you havent ripped it
I did see a man on crutches in the FLM once, and it did briefly cross my mad mind.
bloody hell, you arent having much luck are you
If she says A&E, you go to A&E!
physio said it was a strain, he recommended heel supports as he said i'm placing strain on my calfs, said i should start running at the weekend, but take it easy and not place an emphasis on the finishing time on marathon day.
feeling much more positive today,
Big thanks for the advice everyone
