so how come those spineless gimps we call "mps" all voted to keep the Blair Witch in last night? Shoulda sent him packing with his tail between his legs...
It's 'cos Cherie was stood outside telling them that they all had to vote for Tony, because, you know, he's such a straight up kinda guy, and you know, you should have faith in him, etc.
I have to admit to watching the "BBC Parliament" channel on cable for a while last night. Jack Straw was making a speech, and they were all laughing and joking and generally having a whale of a time. You'd have thought that they were debating where to go on their holidays and not whether to go to war or not. It was disgraceful.
Bruce Hornsby, of "...And The Range" fame who, surprisingly enough considering what we're now discussing, performed "The Way It Is", based around a central piano riff. He also played with The Grateful Dead for a while.
Crap tune anyway... not really much substance to it. Must admit i thought the conversation was heading in a tangent (again) so didn't associate the name with the song (good recovery Jon, pat y'self on the back)

oil....... nuff said.
True - some of them definitely need to take lessons on public speaking. But there's a time and a place...
Some things'll never change (do do do, do do do, do do do).
Someone here went to see Bruce Hornsby recently......and he didn't play the piano!
Who went to see him or who's Bruce Hornsby?

Perfectly aware that "the way it is" is based on a (albeit dull) piano riff btw
Maybe Baldrick is now a policy advisor at No. 10.
