 I made it 2600ft climbing.

Not taking anything away from the achievement cos it was brilliant  but wasn't the 21km climb in Nice over 800m of climbing? I believe that equates to around 2600ft of climb. 

Superb effort Admiral. 9.42.25 is just amazing.

I think the Nice course is around double the Roth course but its dependant on which GPS site you go to, large variances on elevation.

So nope, point taken, Nice was rock hard xx

I still think I would have rather done Nice in the furnace than Roth in the torrential rain ...

Oh I did some research and given the relative length and ascent of Roth, the gaylord swim start and the cooling rain the official difference between Roth and Nice is 49minutes. Apparently ;o)

Fine effort son. I think it all changed for you when you stopped training with the numpties!

Great confidence boost for Wisconsin too.  I'll reveal the relative difference between that and IMUK later in the year.

Great report Rosey. The weather sounds horrendous. I only did the bike leg of a relay last year but we had sun all the way. enjoy the couple of weeks rest and good luck with the IMW build-up.

NIce report and race Nick.  The good news for Wiki is now you know how to hurt yourself you can do it for the whole race rather than just the last couple of miles of the maraton.  Maybe you'll get a half decent time then
