How does the camping work, are we all booking our own and are we staying Saturday and Sunday nights?

Plan is to camp at Tangerine fields campsite - see earlier link. I will be there Friday and Saturday nights - poss Sunday too, not sure yet though.
AM waiting for Festival listings to be updated too - I have email notification requested for both camping and Festival details and will notify on here as soon as I'm told.
Thanks Nam. I've booked us in for just the Saturday as the M4 will be hell on earth on a Friday night. We'll get up at sparrow fart on the Saturday morning and drive down there, see you all in time for breakfast.
It's Blouse's second ever race, so he'll need lots of pints of carbo-loading the night before

Head for abergavenny. It takes you north of South wales(if you get my drift) and you avoid the maddness.

I think I may wait and see what the weather is like on the day for this one. I have memories of it being slightly damp last year!
Hello everybody
Just planned a week with family at the Hay Festival (campsite and tickets booked), plus have entered this fine-looking race. The piccies, and comments from last year's runners and from people on this thread, tell me it's going to be a good 'un!

All preperations are going well. We're all up for it. PinguPongu - you could say that for any given race but I personally guarantee the weather for this year ok?!! (even a betting man can afford to say that, what are the chances of it being like that again over the next 10 years or so)? Cat

Just popping in to say that alas, I cannot do this now... I have a fell race on the same day, which is a counter for the South wales summer hill series... I thought you started at 10 and that race started at 2 so thought I'd do both (they are not too far apart) but have now discovered the Magic Roundabout starts at 11 and the fell race at 12, so had to make a choice
Cathy, well, if you are personally guarantee it, I'll be there

Hi All
I'm still a novice with only a few races under my belt all of which have been on the road.
Can you tell me whether off road shoes are required for this event as I only have road shoes ( and sounds like weather wasn't great last year!)
Also, bearing in mind the terrain and location, would this be a diificult event for supporters ( including young children) to attend?
