Haven't noticed it getting drier yet Nutty! Fortunately the cattle are indoors now although the poor sheeps have to cope with the rain - doesn't seem to phase them that much though.
I have no races planned - nor running for that matter! My plan is the bike to try and strengthen the achilles before running on it again - but for that I need to retrieve the bike from it's current buried location!!
Got to join the millions of others now Nutty - and lose several pounds! I do like food - pity it doesn't like me that much any more!! Boff Jnr on the other hand eats like a horse with no detriment
Looks like RW ate my post....! Can't blame them as it was talk about food!!
Well done JD, 122m/wk is expensive on those calories - time to draw on the fat bank - I should follow your lead although I seem to be still in the saving mode....
i would like to do relive the old Angellsey Marathon when I met Colin Jackson and my old friend fast legs.may be doing in July of August.anyone willing to join me?
At least you get your long runs during daylight hours Speedy Brear; not like those training for winter/spring marathons Could be a warm one for the marathon itself though!

Salmon is lovely - must remember to get some in.
Yay, sunshine! Actual blue skies outside; so the sun is still out there then
Evening all
Merry Christmas to you all.
Afternoon all
Hope everyone had a great Christmas.
Happy New year. Early night for me, too old to party!
I have just entered Llanelli half, the 20 miler and the marathon!
Afternoon
Ooops - not been checking here over Christmas... too much lovely food to eat!!
I think we may see you at each of those events Nutty!
Great news Boffin.
Too many pies?! Sounds like you had a good one.
Hey, Nutty- well done on first vet yesterday
Happy New Year, everyone!
HI JD
How are you?
I enjoyed the race yesterday. Don't mind coming behind two women young enough to be my daughters! Happens a lot when you are my age!
Just back from an Indian meal. Full as an egg!

Well done on weight loss JD.
Boffin - so long as you enjoyed it along the way.
I am the same weight as before Christmas. I am quite lucky......

What are you training for JD? I can't imagine running that much in one week!
Thank goodness its Friday. Christmas seems years ago!
Boffin - are you and Sweetie going to do the Cafe 360 5k in March? Its a good one and a different route to the park run.
Afternoon
I am not sure about that one Nutty - I know Sweetie has a number of events planned?
To be fair the Swansea Park Run is rather oversubscribed and a bit squished with the masses - not you speedy types
