<!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->Quote:Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 600 employees and has the following statistics?
29 have been accused of spouse abuse
7 have been arrested for fraud
19 have been accused of writing bad cheques
117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses
3 have done time for assault
71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit
4 have been arrested on drug-related charges
8 have been arrested for shoplifting
21 are currently defendants in lawsuits
84 have been arrested for drink driving in the last year
Which organization is this?
It's the 635 members of the House of Commons, the same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line. Usless info but thought i'd share it.

They sent the same thing around in South Africa
Although I am sure SA's ones were a bit worse
(stands back and waits for the abuse to start)
Did you know it is actually illegal to die in the Palace of Westminster. Bit dodgy if you ask me - half the Peers in the Lords look likely to break that law any minute.

Can you guess which organization this is?
It's the 535 members of the United States Congress.
I wonder where these stats come from - maybe they are US figures. Obviously untrue fo rthe Uk, for a start you can't be an MP if you have been declared bancrupt.
Trying to find the exact same one that came out in SA
I suppose more to prove that they are a general hoax sent out by email so that we all think our governments are a bunch of illegal, worthless fraudsters (which they are).
With the media the way it is, do you really think that someone who is a defendant in a lawsuit, or who has been acused of spousal abuse and who works for the government could keep it quiet?
I don't think they CAN be bad now.
Freedom of Press means that any blip on their record is printed in bold for all to see. Any of the above stats would be thrown at us from all angles if they were true
Agreed.
But do you honestly think that those stats are correct for 3 completely differenet countries? Do you really believe that as of right now, I have seen 3 exactly the same (all emails) posted about 3 different countries, all claiming that 80% of any one particular countries government is basically filled with people like that?
Bit coincedental I think
I got the pretend US one off the internet.
Was looking for the pretend SA one though
