Yeah was cold running out on the marshes
Away on business next Tuesday, So looks like Bala will be my next swim in OW
I'm off out on the bike tonight then away tomorrow night in Glasgow with work so won't be able to make Boundary this week. Hopefully should be able to majke next week to get at least another one oin befopre the joys of Bala.

Aww crap - was that 750m laps ? I thought they said 700 ! I only wanted to do 2k and now I've done 2250. Pah. It was like swim darts last night for me - I should have done 2 x 750 laps and 1x 200 lap and then the 400 to finish.
It was colder than last week but not as bad as the first time. The weed was a bit annoying too - they said they will see what they can do about that for next time.
Well done on the race Cona - how did you get on ?
Rosey - Not last night, was out today between 4 and 6.30 around Crewe/Nantwich then back through Northwich, ended up doing a 45 mile loop.
Cougie - Race was good, 1st Half Ironman distance I've done and really enjoyed it. Weather wasn't great and didn't stop raining on the bike but dried out for the run. Course was hilly for then run and a mile or so long!!!!. Went for arm warmers in the end so thanks for the advise. Ended up going around in 5hr25min.
lol, thats what I meant, I was out too but I was out a bit later than you, we need to catch up for a ride or two, I was doing my hill reps over at Walton.
should hopefully be there Mon, but the weather forcast dont look to good
