The waterproof tops in blue a few years ago where really nice. Then they gave you a grey one the other year that would look better if you were sick on it.
Not in! as i've posted elsewhere, the biggest kick in the knackers since I stole my sisters My Little Pony!
My fleece is an 'L' and I have a 40" chest and it fits just fine! not sure whats going on there. Perhaps the people that are 'more rejected' get reject fleeces?
Thought i'd escaped the rejection post today, until the next door neighbour came round this evening to give me the post which the postie left with her. Not only is the fleece massive (supposed to be medium) it's also see-through, not exactly fleece like!
all in all, gutted i'm not in, but there's always next year
Boo! I got my fleece today too. I've been 'training' (very liberal use of the word) since June, screwed up my knee on Sunday during (the last 4 minutes of) my 50min run (which is a good amount of time for me!) and then rejection for the third year running! I wouldn't mind my injury so much but I feel I've spent all summer getting in a position to be able to train for a marathon I'm now not running.
Well, 4th time lucky.... (though knowing me I'll be running in April 2011
Lyndylou im not desperate, well not for a fleece at least just thought there might be some people looking to offload. It does appear that there are a lot of runners unhappy with there fleeces, might i suggest flogging them on ebay that way you will get some of your money back on it and secondly you won t look like a total tit in a piece of kit that s 5 times to big for you
If anyone has a spare fleece, I would love one (medium has fitted me OK every year so far...). I usually bequeath but didn't this year as I didn't have enough on my credit card at the time of entry. This is my 5th ballot failure so it would be nice to have the set! I'm in London.
if anyone doesn't want their fleeces send to us as am sure the teenager at The Children's Trust would love as easy to get on an off in a wheelchair www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk/london marathon we also need 1000 runners as offical charity - go on run for us !
Hi,
Please don't misunderstand, many of the people on here run for a charity and we have nothing against then but spaming for a runner to run for your charity on a thread to do with none of us can get in the London Marathon anymore because they are now running the marathon for charities and not marathon runner's is just a little insensitive? But hope you get your runner's
p.s. got my rejection letter and sulking, fleece is nice through thinking of using it as a tent.
Comments
Mr LB wears a 44" suit jacket and the medium fits HIM......
Neither of us got in MT.
Fancy Lochaber then?

me and hubby got our fleeces. They're massive!
Roll on 2014!!
Now I'm really confused! An XL fits a non fat man, but a medium is the size of Manhattan?
Are you sure you don't just REALLY LOVE HIM and he's the size of a house, Nikster?
Mine is L and it's massive thought L would be OK for after training but I could cover the track with it!!!!
Anybody want to sell there fleece, you won t be there in April but your fleece will, sensible prices please.

Mine's small. I could use it as a small tent. But then I am a short arse and petite all over to boot.
Do you think the concept of ladies' fit and mens' fit has passed them by?

yep, found my fleece behind my recycling bin, left there by postie.
What is it with FLM and grey and black? The fleece perfectly matches to rain top from last year.
Well I like my fleece! It is quite large though, but I guess they're all men's sizes.
Fingers crossed for a GB place...
Rejection mag arrived today, without fleece.
