I'm hoping I had my share of traffic probs last night. It's more Sunday than today that I'd like to be clear. Gammy knee gets too much use in heavy traffic. *assuming I start tomoz of course - otherwise it'll be fine!!*
First marathon for me (done a few halfs), but this is now looking truely scary for tomorrow. I feel quite sick just typing.
Undertrained, and overweight, so going on the run a bit, walk a lot plan, but Im now worried about the weather. I have a ronhill windcheater, shower jacket thing, and I was going to wear capri leggings. Considering taking camelbak, because i can just about squeeze in toilet paper, phone, gels, and maybe a spare pair of socks.
Anyone offer any other tips, or is it just get wet and cry a lot of the cards.
directions to the Marine Pub for Saturday night for those staying at the Travelodge
out of the front door - turn left - past Fusciardi's Italian cafe (great ice cream btw) and walk straight on for about 200m down Marine Road (not Marine Parade which is the seafront) - back entrance into the pub on your left opposite Sea Breeze Guest house. Front entrance is on Seaside.

Oh and my race number is 714
Hope, dont worry about it. Sounds like you have it all covered.
You can't change the weather so it's just head down, plough on.
I will keep an eye out for you tomorrow.
Hopeto finish
You wont cry its great fun
Take a jacket though, it can get exposed on the downs
I reckon I could make a fortune parking cars for you lot!
Hipps....drive by my place, pick me and my bike up and I'll park for you and cycle back. Sorted!
Last time I ran on the Downs in pouring rain and howling wind, I needed an ear plug for the exposed ear cos the rain drops went straight in lol
(and no they didn't go straight out the otherside.....my few brain cells managed to stop that)
I'm taking my buff for that reason, always end up with water logged lugholes.
Cas, how much are you charging for carparking duties
BUFF!
Right
cas, is there a fat face in eastbourne?
