It seems that Glock was just losing time and Hamilton passed him in the last couple of corners - don't know if it was his slick tyres or perhaps team orders - hope not! It was great and I am delighted Lewis won, but Massa seems like a really good sport (unlike Alonso - grr!) and I felt a bit sorry for him - though wouldn't have wanted him to win
had heart in mouth for the last two laps and really thought Lewis had lost the title. didnt quite believe the commentators and jumped in air when he went over in 5th, hubby too, nearly knocked all the dinner flying!
impressed with Massa's gracious attitude.
mixed feelings about BBC SPOTY as Lewis will almost certainly pip Chris Hoy now though. hope cycling get the team award though.
Meglet, I think Rebecca Adlington was odds on to win the sports personality anyway (does she have one?), i'd go with Hoy, a fantastic athlete, but Lewis will probably win now and does deserve it too. I had money on Murray to win it, I think even if he won the US open he'd still not win, people haven't really take to him, good player mind.
Kimi for sure....he deliberately tries to avoid answering with more than one word But then that's rather a Finnish habit. A race that uses words sparingly.
Oh my goodness, what an end to a season! Talk about down to the wire, I'm so hoarse! Can't wait to see a number 1 on the rightful car next season.
For what it's worth, I've met both Lewis and Kimi, and they're just as nice as each other, but Kimi's apparently a very private person. I did make him laugh tho, that's my claim to fame! He had that guy with the goatee who's always on the camera in the Ferrari pits with him, who told me he didn't care for my McLaren shirt
A priceless sporting moment. The only thing I think could top it would be Alex Ferguson jumping around like a maniac thinking ManU have won some cup or other because the ref has blown his whistle and he thinks he blew it to indicate time up when in fact he is pointing to the penalty spot.
I have to say I sat there gobsmacked with my mouth wide open when Hamilton went past Glock at the final bend..........quite quite an amazing finish...........and loved the look on the Ferrari team faces as they realised they hadn't won...
I think John Watson said on R4 this morning that in the future they should water all race tracks at intervals to make the racing more interesting - maybe he's not far wrong! best F1 race for a long time....
pity Coulthard didn't get very far in his last F1 race - very unlucky to be forced off......
I know, DC must have had the unluckiest season ever, it always seemed to be someone else's actions taking him off. Except for Monaco, he did a pretty good job of stuffing it into the barriers himself!
Dodge, that video is brilliant! Feel a bit sorry for Massa tho, but to his credit he was very gracious.

What a day to be British, eh? Paula and Lewis!
Pity we're a bit crap at rugby league. The Aussies gave us a right royal stuffing this morning.....
