I want to run a sub 60 min 10k at Cardiff In Septmeber.
I Have been running since Christmas and am now up to 4 miles, so I'm sure the extra 2 miles distance won't be a problem, but how do I get faster?
I have access to a track (300m) so how fast should my efforts be , or more importantly, shoulsd I be doing efforts yet?

As your 10k is not until sept, you have time to build up your distance, try to run over the distance at least once before the race.
