I saw Trogs Ferret and Dustboy, along with some others I cant remember (Soupy and Saffers?) at the top of Newlands. One had a load of claret oozing out of their face after a clipless, and they were being led round by Dustboy... OMG!
Anyhow I did the customary thing and stole all the fluid they had left. I was on my way to box hill, and none of them seemed to want to join me. lightweights.
They seemed to think 30 or so miles was enough. Weird. Oh and Dustboy why are you driving to Newlands corner when its less than 10 miles from your house? you could have ridden there and back and made it a nice 50 miler.
Anyhows nice to see you all. Even if you were all on compacts
Oooh Seren, I have answered you on t'other thread.
The winner would have finished around 3pm and I thought that was roughly when Barlos would have finished his bike. I can't see how he could have been watching the run before the leader finished unless I have remembered wrong.
But it definitely looked like him and I can't think who else it could be
At Warwickshire Tri yesterday, running the canal stretch, lady wearing pirate top, cheered her on!

Already been said it was Sarah the bookworm braking her cherry with me and Donald there as well. Next stop outlaw assuming injuries sorted out in time.
Was anouther pirate at the tri but couldn't get close enough to say hello anyone know who it was?

Blimey, that's some bad phrasing!
Thanks for the cheers BB - the extra support from wearing the pirate kit was brilliant and so very welcome
If you check out page 60 of the latest issue of TW magazine, you will spot three handsome pirates over the course of the next 6 pages - although I hasten to add I didn't come up with the title!

He'll come over to the dark side sooner or later I suspect. Though looking at his times for a first tri, he might be a bit good for us!
He said he got a couple of "Go Pirate" shouts, much appreciated!
My sister spotted him - she is in to all things piratey. "You should get one of those tops" was the comment .
We were on the pavilion balcony, so I didn't shout out...
I was up at Fleetwood Tri yesterday and spotted this on the course, personally I found it sickening, but hey ho !!! (well done Andy)
nee bother - i've benefited massively from pirate support in the past - more than happy to give a few cheers back

Did I look good?
I saw Slag, Hope, Bassy and Flyaway on the box this morning.
I am not sure but I may have seen Barley too (but don't think he could have been spectating before the leader finished)

Saw a pirate yesterday doing HSV Tri in Hatfield. Gave you a shout out at the cycle dismount point...
==> I know I'm late in replying - that was me. I took a whole 1 second off my time from May.

That'll be Garr, Slow Engineer and me then...
I still can't find it in the shops
Bloomin Eck. Two pages and an entire page photo... I feel sorry for subscribers. Nobody wants that much Engineer OR FF!
