Hi SourSusan - I think they don't like to "stand out" that's right - he also lacks a bit in confidence like me and I think it is a diffuclt balance between sitting back and letting them learn the hard way versus giving them your own neuroses!
Cup half full 130 mile cycle achieved this weekend - it was amazing. I had loads of PMA which is not typical for me. To the point where some people commented how positive I was. I think I must be good in a crisis. We did get very lost in Kielder Forest in the pitch black due to a wrong turn which was scary and very Blair Witch -thank God there were 4 of us!
Cup half empty er....unusually for me....nothing! Life's grand.
Cup really very full this weekend: I teach in a college and Friday was last day of an Ofsted inspection- which meant the last day of weeks of grind, grind, grind ! And not only that, the Ofsted report was good!!
Running wise- did 5 miles yesterday and 12 miles today in beautiful sunshine.
My wine glass is now going to be nearly overflowing
Hi Ladyfe - thanks and welcome. I like the PMA in your post - no negatives! Good running this weekend - are you training for anything in particular? Well done on the Ofsted.
Just thought the Gazza might mean you were an NUFC fan gazagirl
happy birthday Compo1 and good luck in the Bradford half-mara - do you feel set for it?
Ladyfe - good luck in Brentwood mara - are you a mara virgin?
Cup half full - have decided to enter the Northern Rock Cyclone Event for 2011. Also, am going down to London on 6 November to watch rugby international England-v-NZ and now have a meeting in London on the Friday so work will pick up the cost of my travel
Cup half empty - intend to leave the office today at 4, but managed to leave at 7.10 p.m. - pathetic
spent two hours checking prescriptions all alone, but was a fun day at work with nice patients and a smooth flowing day for me....that was my day...and yep its friday tomoz!
half empty - got a stinking cold and have felt lousy all week - today a bit better but I was meant to be going to a gig tonight but I can't face standing up for a few hours in a heaving sweaty place. Early night for me instead while someone else uses my ticket - boo hoo
Glass half full - I went for another run this morning - 3 miles in 33mins14 secs. A start! Felt like a hippo pounding round the streets but feels good to have gone.
Glass half empty - had a dime bar this afternoon Poo week for me too. Glad it is the weekend but it will go sooooooooooo fast.

Cup half full - got through the disciplinary thing as was not as bad as expected. Got a (small but unexpected) pay rise at work today.
Cup half empty - not been out for a run for 3 nights and no motivation.

Are you a doctor Loulabell?
Sorry you're feeling crappy GreenEyes - what was the gig?
Have a good weekend Michelle.
Sour Sue- don't worry about feeling like a hippo - you will think you look a LOT worse than you actually do. I feel like that myself though.
