me and big dave are alive and living in Gibraltar at the mo, thanks for the nudge to the thread FB.
Dave has a long term injury and its doubtful he would be able to run, I am fit but lazy, we cycle but I have not run for about 3 months
Dave would be doubtful to fit in his pirate kit, I can
my excuse at the mo, Gib is only 6 miles square I would get dizzy training
but dont rule us out, maybe we can come for the reunion and support, but not entirely sure where we will be living, but I will book mark the thread and pop in time to time to see what is happening and when I know where we will be in september we can make plans and maybe I can come out of retirement or at least we could come and cheer you on
a reunion sounds like a good idea
I will probably come up and support, it should be an excellent laugh
If Candy wants to stump up my entry I will happily give him a chance at third time lucky in beating me
Did 8iron change his nickname, who was he in 05?
In 2005 8iron was called Biron... at least he was by me until in Zurich I heard someone say 'eight iron' and quietly muttered to myself 'oh yeah, oops'. I just thought he was a wannabe Ironman with a thing for Bic pens! I kept that one quite a long time.

and yes - 8iron was 8iron in 05 - and still is. he raced in pirate kit but wasn't at the Monday piss up.
