I'm covered in white stain-blocking paint (discovered too late that there's no turps in the house), full of cannelloni, and trying to get my noddle around yet another article on boring administrative stuff. I might shelve it for an hour and finish the human-interest piece that I promised a nice new editor on the block.If you lot here think you know every corner of my tedious little life, you've got off lightly compared to the readers of a particular journal.
