I got ill, I got a bit better, I did a 1.5 hr bike ride on Friday to get rid of the germs, a turbo on Saturday and a fab 9 mile run on Sunday. Then I went swimming on Monday. Then I got sick again. I blame the swimming. Swimming is shit.
Back to the antibiotics and days on the sofa.
A slightly stuttery start but I will get there.

Big training numbers going on here already i am going for a nice steady build up as we have 25 ish weeks to go plenty of time to totally overcook it and drive myself into an overtraining spiral
First "proper" pool session today since IM Wales and i have gone from a 1:12 IM sea swim fish to a breathless after 2 lengths crab

For me... running going well. Cycling not too bad. Swimming....erm... yeah. Better get started with that one
I've promised my old swim coach I will be back at swim club next week. I've had a decent break from swimming because it really isn't my favourite thing and there's only so much of making myself do something I don't want to do that I can do. If you know what I mean.
But the plan was to get back to it in January and that's what I will do. Next week. Cross my heart!
I found a real love for open water swimming last year though. I can't wait for the spring!!!!!
That is one of the joys of living in Dubai and one which I'm going to miss when I leave next year, there are loads of 25M pools and the one I use is crowdwd if there are 3 of us in it. Rarely sight any Leopard print thongs but is next to where the Emirates trolley dollies live so there are some pleasant sights to be seen
Three hours on the bike this morning, I'm still getting used to riding a TT bike again, my back neck and shoulders are all complaining.
I am a training goddess this week....it will probabaly only last a few more days
