Is there a 3 month marathon schedule

I am supposed to be doing the NY marathon . It's my first, I'm 41 and have got reasonably fit over the last few months but there has been contiuous recoveries from injury. At the moment I have been off for another week with a dodgy knee..caused either by new orthotics or upping from 4 to 5 miles.

Is there a passable 3 month training schedule that gives me a fighting chance of completion? I'm really asking because time is running on and I'm in a panic.Last resorts I'm afraid.

    Yes!
I used this for FLM and it got me through feeling like a million dollars.
I started training when I was struggling to even complete 5k...!!
Stick to it and you'll have no worries at all...
(Well 18 weeks but if you can already run for 30 mins non-stop you are already into about week 3)...

I think you can cut the first few weeks off many schedules, if you have been running regularly. The trick is to find something that you can stick with, which includes the long runs and enough else. No good jumping on a 5-outing a week if you can't find the time, or your body says no.
