Slight step up there fella.
A one off 50miler is one thing, but doing a marathon every weekend for a year!? Heck of a commitment.
As you won't find a marathon event every weekend, i guess you'll be covering the 26.2 round your town or something?
Are you meaning half marathon, or marathons? I'm sure if you made it a half marathon each week, and ran at an "easy" pace, it'd be pretty doable.
Doing a marathon each week, might not be so doable.
If you do mean marathons, you mean you'd run your local half x2 quite a few weeks, and ask your chairman to witness it each time?!
Yep..half marathon each week sounds a lot more sensible...but obviously still a big challenge...you may get ill...something may come up etc...
But best of luck
maybe keep this thread rolling with updates..

Those are probably the sort of people you want to be talking to. Best of luck.
I pretty much run 13 miles or more every weekend anyway. I get grumpy if I don't(so they tell me)
You should to speak to Simon ... 100 marathons in 100 weeks. Yes, full marathons! And for the same cause too.

North London...i bet you are one of those high maintenance types in real life!
All for good causes I'm sure, but 50/100 etc consecutive weeks is kind of a MASSIVE bind on your life, and any idea of racing or training properly is out of the window! Still..each to their own !
