Kuota standard. Nah, not even there. Profile Design tri - chafes inside leg, soft but not a long distance saddle Specialised BG tritip gel - Fucking brick Selle San Marco Triathgel Aspide - OKish but VERY bad sacro pain on left side Selle Italia new leather anti numb knob one - Jury out but leather is good, still lots of lower back pain, costing me a fortune in Dubbin, knob still numb.
Conclusion - natural materials ie leather will be the way to go.
Selle Italia Tri / Its OK use on TT seat post on my road bike
In my opinion it makes no odds, first hour is OK, 2nd hour arse hurts, after 2 hours the level of pain gets no worse, numbness sets in / brain turns off
Road bike Selle I talia SLR minimalist but very comfy over 100 miles
Tri bike planet x titanium ( the fizik copy) great over IM distance in the aero position
Cross/tourer Brooks Team Pro the comfiest saddle ever if it didnt weigh half a ton and look like it was designed in 1066 i would have it on all my bikes
MTBs charge spoon nice n comfy bit of padding and cleans up well
road bike...........the planet x one that came with my bike so a male model.......i can sit on it for hours.infact 13 hours in one night last month and no problems at all.......

planet-x superlight is the best i've tried. I've never had any major discomfort on it even in a tri suit for a few too many hours. I have a selle italia shiver on my road bike and even with well padded shorts its not great.
Fizik arione- on the whole its fab, but I must remember to get out of the saddle now and again (serious knob numbage post IMCH as I did nearly all the climbs seated).
Boardman saddle, despite a similar profile to the fizik- hated it.
Fizik Arione on race and training bike - comfort like no other saddle
Charge Spoon on singlespeed - for value for money and comfort this is probably the best saddle available today. - less than £20 on Wiggle and of the near 500 reviews, most are very positive. most negatives relate to colour choice which is not a comfort issue!! it's quite a bargain and it's worth spending that amount just to try it
Wonder if they have come off 2nd hand bikes ? and have gone onto the "trial pile"? I admit there are only a couple, I'm calling in tomorrow, Will ask for you
Road bike: Specialized Romin Evo Carbon (soooo comfy)
TT bike: Selle Italia SLR Tri Gel (a tad flabby perhaps but comfortable over longer distances than anything else I've used)
I used to ride the Fizik Arione saddle on the road bike although suffered from numb bits and bobs for years. Have had nothing of the sort since switching to the Romin.
ism adamo road, on all bike cause i'm a cheap skate and move in from road/tri and mountain bike. (I like getting my monies worth) took me ages to find a saddle that I could ride for more than an hour.

SlowE/male/Entry level Specialized BG/love it
SlowE/male/ISM Adamo Road/love it but took a while to get used to it
All saddles are horrid.

Road Bike / Selle Italia SLR / Its Ok
Tried Specialized Toupe / Awful

fizik Wing Pavé on road bike
fizik Tri Arione on TT
TT Bike / Specialized Romin Comp / loved it form day 1!
Road bike / Specialized Avatar / Its OK - has more padding than ther Romin, but is less comfortable!
You sat on a male model for 13 hours?!
slow engineer .my bike is a male model so the seat must be designed for a man......
Specialised Alias saddle on both bikes - love it.
lmao at slow engineer!

Fizik Tri 2, loving it, swap it from bike to bike coz I'm cheap

Fizik Tri 2 on my bikes (even the mtb), nice n comfy
Another vote for the Planet X superlight although I've just got a Charge Spoon so am trying that out for a bit & seems OK so far.

Little Sister / Female/ Fizik Nisene/ Both MTB & Road bike
Mouse/female/Spesh Ruby size medium
It gets a bit uncomfortable after 100 miles, but, seriously, so does sitting in the car for that distance!
It's not the lady garden that plays up, more the sit bone/groin area where the leg joins the torso.
I'd love to try alternatives but where companies like Fizik have sample saddles at LBS for men to try, nobody seems to offer the same to women.
that's because you'd make a mess all over them.....
my LBS has womens Fizik's for demo
My LBS says that Fizik don't offer them test saddles. I shall use this information as ammunition.
FB - I do wear shorts!!!!!

seats are for wimps - i like a greased post and thatll do
Cat/Male/Road bike - Spesh Rival BG 143 - was ok on the C100, does the job (not bad for a £10 parts bin saddle).
TT Bike - Fizik Arione Tri2. Also does the job, though does hurt after a few hours.
Cat5 is skinny and made of helium though, no pressure on the saddle. If you gave him a crossie, he'd make you faster.
