Hi Scott, I'm hoping for 1.40/1.45. Got new forest HM in a few weeks followed by Amsterdam marathon. Then few weeks of just light training until jan 2013 start all over again!!!!
Thanks Kate, everyone has told me how good it is and how flat/fast it is. Really looking forward to it. Two great races coming up new forest half and Amsterdam marathon. Great few weeks coming up I hope!!!!!!
Oh you will love Amsterdam. They don't have all the charity and fancy dress stuff (which I know has its place but is not why I run and can be frustrating when you have trained hard and have to get past people dressed up!) The course, unless it is changed is really good and yes flat! Have a fab run. Sorry if you are indeed a fancy dress kind of runner, but it doesn't look like it given your photo and your times.
I'm in for the bath half again next year - will be my fifth year, love it! Re accomodation, it is a really touristy town so loads and loads of B&Bs, or the Hilton is right in the twon centre. Can be a bit crowded for the first couple of miles, and the 'Copafeel' charity crowd do it every year so expect a lot of boobies running round the course!
Hi guys - i've enetered the Bath half too, it's my first proper organised race where there will be spectators and stuff, although i have run a half before, i'm quite excited! Running with my best friend as well which is always good, although i'm not sure i'll keep up, shes run quite a lot more than me including the great north run!
Stephen, if you haven't already booked somewhere to stay there is a place called Paradise House in Bath, my boyfriend and I have stayed there and it is beautiful and very close to town.
Training starts Dec 9th when i get back to the UK! See you all there
I've signed up for this as part of training for the paris marathon in april. I've done it 3 of the last 4 years (went to uni in the city, so had no excuse not too), and it's a blummin brilliant race. Very flat course, and brilliant support.
Previous PB is 1.51, but I'd hope to go under 1.50, barring illness and injury. Cannot wait

Yes, I'm doing it. Run this one three times and really like it. Stephen, Amsterdam is amazing. I really loved it and got a PB. Enjoy!

Maybe it's time to start throwing hats into the ring regarding expected/predicted/hoped for times........
I did bath half this year, with a time of 2.01, was I'll, so looking to do sub 1.50, watch this space.....
I know that I am not the fastest, but will always try my hardest!
