Should i join a gym

I have been running for over a year now and have done 6 10k races and now do a 10k in 45mins.I am now training for a half marathon in october.I am finding it hard to fit in training around work and family commitments if i was to join a gym i can put my daughter in the creche at the gym so i can use the treadmills.Do i risk wearing my self out by using all the cardio machines and treadmills and not running outside as i have been doing.Will this improve my running and fitness or make it worse
