For the past few days, I haven't ached. Not sure whether that means that time, rest and being slightly overnourished have finally worked their magic on my sore achilles and other odd twinges, or whether it means that the whole caboodle, including the achilles, was a stress-related thing.
Also not sure whether it means I should make some last-minute transport and accommodation arrangements and do GNR as a sociable walk, or start with some two-milers and build up gradually.
I'm not snotty (well, not in the literal sense) and haven't had a hangover for over a month, and that was the first in years and was only a weeny one which was banished by a couple of slices of toast.
I've just got the "my-job-stinks" lurgy which is also prevalent on FFF.

Everyone's snotty (or hungover - heeheeee. Sorry, did I allow a momentary smugness to escape?).
Poor Barkles. You're very brave to emerge with your man-flu. )

Barkles, you will be there AGES before me. I'd be looking at starting at the back and walking 15-minute miles.
Think I'll look at travel options anyway. And must mail my sister, since I don't know what she's planning to do.
