ROUTE: The 10K course is BAF measured through the streets of Abbots Langley, Bedmond and Kings Langley 5K FUN RUN: The 5K course is through the streets of Abbots Langley PRIZES: All finishers of both events will receive a medal, with prizes & trophies being awarded to the leading men, women, vets and affiliated teams (4 score) FACILITIES: Changing facilities and refreshments will be available in the Abbots Langley Youth & Community Centre. ENTRIES: The entry fees are £5 (affiliated) and £6 (non-affiliated), under 17 £3. Entires on the day £7, under 17 £4. Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to ALTT, and returned before 6th October 2002 to the race organiser, enclosing a S.A.E. for numbers and directions. I see all the the proceeds are going to a promising local high-jumper who lost a leg when he was knocked down by a car last year. The money raised will allow him to get a new prosthetic limb and enable him to compete in Athens Olympics next September.
