Okay I just checked - it starts at 11am and it will take me over 2 hours as I run 13min/miles on flat tarmac without any mud. So 1.15 is pushing it for me...,......but don't want to keep hungry faster people away from their food.
Then again - you don't want me turning up still caked in mud do you?
Could you make it 1.30 jw? They are quite used to us straggling in at different times. I was nearer 2 last year by the time I got the mud out of my .... well basically everywhere!
Where is the tapas place jw? We might go there on the Sat night.
I know the field .... the one that is ankle deep in clag in a good day .... where the potential to be on your arse every 2 mins is great. Tell Bullseye I may need a hand out of the sheepdip as usual. School uniform this year, I may give him a flash of my gym knickers as a reward ....
I'm thinking of going to Asda for some school uniform stuff. I figure throwing away some fancy dress is going to be easier than washing my run kit that I might just want to wear again. I'm hanging on to some old trainers for the day. How short is your gym slip TP? I suppose fish net tights with it is compulsary too!
I have a green gingham dress which is actually a fairly decent length. I wore it with white ankle socks so I am guessing that'll work in fine with running socks. The dress will get chucked afterwards, I think I have old trainers in Taunton. If not I will leave them for S to clean when I come home
Is anyone going to Sodbury also going ooop North afterwards, or better still lives that way? We have a bag of corks that need to be transported to Bookie and Cake in Sheffield
I'm sure that would be absolutely fine, it's a long tterm project - a display board to hang running medals from. It will take loads more than I've got, but my lot will be a really good start. Thanks a million, that's brilliant, I'll PM you all and put you in touch
Sad news ....... It's not rained again today Maybe I should look at damming the stream, after all, it was only thigh deep when I waded through it last week

I have a feeling I'm going to be getting rather cold and wet. Not sure if I'm looking forward to this or dreading it!

So I'm still trying to work out what to wear for this. Is it too early for a santa dress?
Will I be safe with you SS regulars?
Oh how disappointing. I've met TP & Sweetest, and had great banter with them. I'm looking forward to it.

I might be going up the week after Hash. My Mum lives near Sheffield so depends how soon they want them.
