Hamstring Tendon Tear

Has anybody ever torn the tendon at the bottom of their hamstring behind the knee?
Did it about 4 weeks ago and it is taking forever to clear up, strained my medial ligament in the same incident which is mending well but the Hamstring is really slow to improve and is now driving me mad!
