The campsite have a gatecode, can I ask that when someone gets there on Friday they can post the 4 digit gatecode here? If youre not camping but on the supporters list you can park in the campsite I think.
If I recall correctly they give campers a get a tag for their tent but nothing for the vehicle.
Raf, the campsite have been given a list of names as per what Schmunkee was collating. When you arrive, give them your name and say that youre a race volunteer and are on the One Step Beyond list.
If anyone has any problems with this you can try calling me but im afraid you have to pay, ill personally take responsibility for ensuring you get a refund. I dont anticipate any problems but who knows?
That's a wonderful gesture Barley, but it might be wise to make it clear that your guarantee applies only to the names on the list and that no Thomas, Richard or Henry can turn up and claim a refund from you

No, do not post the gatecode here as that is open to abuse and we want to remain in favour with OSB and not be seen to be abusing their/the campsites goodwill.
People communicate by other social media eg text, facebook, and Twitter so there really is no need to publish a gatecode on an open forum
Barley, waiting for a reply from In the Blue about whether they wants a lift out to the FS after relay swim leg on Sunday. If not then I'm happy to go straight to FS2 which might be slightly easier for an eta of about 0830.
As an aside, I know in previous years - or year 1 anyway - we had responsibility for a couple of nearby road junctions as well as the feed station. Is that also happening this year?
I had a thought. Is the campsite inside a road closure? Assume we can get out and back in cars to the feedstation? Question for those that did it last year?
Thanks Trogs, adding you to the list and happy for you to go straight out to FS2.
For the others, can I suggest we all meet up at F1 by 06.30 as planned then agree between us the 6 people from those (10) who've volunteered? This leaves it more flexible and you can perhaps agree between yourselves a rotation so for those that would prefer they can get time at FS1 as well?
There is a rumour circulating that a certain jealous, nasty, evil, vicious person with a big chip on their shoulder and some kind of axe to grind has been circulating mischievous emails!
Can I make it absolutely clear that I do not have penchant for heavy-breathing phone calls at 2am on a Wednesday and Thursday.

No, Mouse. We are free to come and go as we like (or we were last year anyway)
If its like the last two year mouse, you can drive in and out along the main road with the bikes as there is no alternative route.
