I might have to have a look at that for 2015 though. Looks good. The wife wants to have a holiday in Switzerland next year, maybe I'll suggest we do that in 2015!
Switzerland may be small, but Zurich is not Geneva, Tycholien. It's the same distance as going from London to Bradford, and I don't know of anything half decent to come out of Bradford
I was going to say that i couldn't remmeber the bike being flat...........when you hear people talking about the big hill in Outlaw you have to be careful what you call flat........

Doh! I knew something was wrong as I mentioned the fountains!

The "big hill" at Outlaw is a joke compared with the long drag after The Beast at IMCH. When you've already covered 140km and you're crawling up it at 40 degrees (temperature not incline) you just want to get off and have a big drink from the water fountain.

Do they turn the fountain off? Or is there more than one lake?
Hors d'oeuvres must be obeyed at all times!!!
Looks a fab race looking to do a euro race in 2015, unless I manage to save for challenge almere next sept.
The first bit was meant for Frankfurt thread lol

Im Switzerland is a good race, not exactly flat but not lumpy either ... flippin expensive once you are out there tho !
This year
It ended up being a non wetsuit swim
It got so hot people were dropping like flys
And although it isnt to lumpy half the climbing is in the last 30-40k of the race (Including a couple of big climbs)
BUT IT IS A GREAT RACE
I wanted o go back next year but cant get Hols at that time

But it is fun though
I stood on The Beast a few years back when I had family living in the area. Man that hill looked like it was a real punisher.
The Beast was fine, it was the long drag uphill after you'd dropped off the other side that was the problem!
Yep thats where the heat got the better of me and I had to have a bit of a liedown
"flat" is relative - when you're a weak climber like me any uphill bit is a mountain!
yup that did me in....had a little 5 min lie down in the shade just before the top....30 mins later I got up
