Hi,
I picked up a pair of adidas adizero tempo 4 off ebay as wanted to try racing flats. I thought that the purpose/benefit of racing flats was the weight of them.
I have just placed these on some digital food scales and they weight 307 grams. My asics gt2000 that I always race in are 304 grams.
Have I missed the point of racing flats or have I purchased shoes that are not racing flats?
Thanks

You've made a mistake.
Racing flats at around UK size 8 weigh weigh about 200 grms.
My New Balance RC 1600's weigh 140 grms.
🙂
OK thanks. They only cost a tenner so I can make enough use elsewhere of them to take that hit.
Back to the drawing board on the flats front!
Millsy, thanks will have a look at those. Whats the fit of brooks like size wise compared to your normal running shoes? I am normally 8 in asics/new balance but take 9 in adidas. Debating just ordering a pair on line tonight as have a 10k sunday.
ok thanks. just found some on sportshoe.com for £30 so ordered them.
