still an amazing time Joddly......I was thinking about this the other day....it was quite close to IMUK where everyone put everything ointo their performances to qualify......
some people must need longer than others to recover fully surely..I think i would need a good few months.....

The Ironman blender, yes, a blender than blends right into a sports bottle! I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at 3AM in the morning, when alcohol hasn't been involved. I guess partly because it epitomises how we've all (well I certainly have) been sucked in by the brand.
But really, blending directly into the sports bottle? No need to pour? Get me three.
It was a pleasure following you three, just for being there, anything else was a bonus
Ahhh the blender, had forgot about that! not much makes me almost spit a mouthful of beer out! (and not straight into a sports bottle, either)

Loved the race - zero expectations going into it, and was purely out to enjoy the experience so very happy with my times, although the swim was ridiculously slow! At some point I may write a race report if there's an appetite for one.
Overall I think Pirates did themselves proud on the Big Island.
