I have been undertaking a steady diet of 400's 800's and Miles
16 400's off 45 seconds
8 800's off 1.30
5 miles off 2 mins
Anyone got any favourite marathon sessions that they love and want to share?

Yesterday I tried the following pyramid session:
800 - 90 secs recovery
1 mile - 2 minutes recovery
2 miles - 3 minutes recovery
1 mile - 2 mins recovery
800
I found it quite a tough session - especially the second mile effort, but it was a bit more interesting than my usual diet of 800, 1k or mile reps.

That sounds good Donutto. One of my favourites is 2 x 1 mile at 5k pace with 3 mins recovery, 2 x 800 at 3k pace with 2 mins recovery, and 2/4 x 400m at 1 mile pace with 90 sec recovery.
