He did say he wasn't interested in plodding round in 3:30, so at least that was achieved.
I think I remember saying that his failure would be the death of this thread. In other words people like this tend to skulk off and not face up to how wrong they were. I doubt if he will learn his lesson.
I was pretty close at my prediction of 3:45 then. My voice of experience of failure...
