Treadmill training

Love to race competitively, intending 1-2 events per month this year.
BUT not a great one for training outdoors so looking for new ideas on quality treadmill sessions to improve speed,endurance etc (from 5km through X-country to half marathon events).

Anybody out there got any treadmill training sessions that work well for them (shouldn't take more than 45 mins max in total)??
