Rest period after first ultra ?
I did my first Ultra a week ago ( The Gritstone Grind - 35 miles ) and just wondered how long do people take off before getting out running again in general

Rest as much or little as you want. But don't do anything hard for a while
Hi, Talulah. For me it's 7 days (and after a marathon 5 days). I'm not a fan of these so-called 'recovery' runs. Best to do some cross-training such as swimming.
