Ultra Marathon

Evening all

Im running my first Ultra marathon next June {the wall}.  I would be extremely gratefull for any advice, websites or reading that will help me in any way?  Only ever run marathon distance so this is a whole new ball game for me.  I look forward to hearing from you.  Much appreciated

Other than that, the usual stuff.  Learn to walk with purpose; practice eating; learn foot care.

My wife did this race last year, over two days.  She liked it a lot.  It was well-organised and friendly, with more support than expected in various remote locations.  She used back-to-back long slow training runs on alternate weekends, with shorter tempo sessions the other weekends.  This routine got her round in good condition.

Thanks for your comments folks. I've taken the 1 day option. Gonna go with my normal marathon training prog over 5 months. Will put two day back to back low intensity runs together towards the end. Thanks again. Any more info will be gratefully recieved.
