Paris Marathon

Hi,

 

I have Achilles tendonitis and I have asked the Paris race organisers to defer my entry. They have refused! Is this normal? 

Is there anything I can do at all?

Normal for most races apart from London Marathon I think.

Deferring Paris is pretty much a waste of time as (at least so far) they haven't sold out quickly . Even when you defer London or Brighton you still have to pay again so with VLM its worth it as it gets you a guaranteed spot (if you pay again) but with Paris you don't need that guarantee you cab just enter

I think I am a bit lost.

What is VLM? According to the race organisers I can't defer or change or cancel. It is forbidden.

Virgin London marathon = VLM



There is no benefit to deferring Paris which is why you can't.
