Just had 4 days down by Blakeney and drove past the big wooden Taurus and diving centre a few times - I even said to mrs 9 how hilly it was around there and you would have to be good on lumpy bits with your bike...unlike me!
I had trouble getting around Puzzlewood!
So what's going on with this event? The website seems to be in stasis. The entry list for The Woodies seem to be wrong or not updated. Be nice to get an email or an update or something from them
So have they just run off with the entry fees? This will take a lot of prepararation and it would be good to see the event appear to be up and running.
I think the guy who runs it is on his Honeymoon as I know He got married last weekend or the weekend before.

Well, the good news is that the local authority have now repaired the road that climbs gently up towards English Bicknor.
All you have to do now is cycle up it, and The Tump that follows shortly after.
I'd like to report that all roads were in perfect condition....but I got lost.
A month to go and....bugger all happening. What is the point of a start list?
havent even looked...
but completed my a race last weekend and so ready to try and start cycling and swimming again...
will take my bike on holiday tomorrow and try and get a few gentle rides in to see how my legs feel...hopefully training can start next week
Fine if you live up the road but if you are coming from a long way away you need to know things are happening

it isnt great is it......i'm not too bothered as I have done loads of events and its not far away......I havent trained for it.
but if it was my first or i had really trained I admit I would be pissed off by the lack of information
Lack of any any contact since I signed up has made it difficult to really commit to this race. If I end up doing this event it will be at get round pace. Lots of events I'd like to enter if I knew this wasn't going to happen. Maybe give them a ring

I only just realised last week that the race is on a saturday not a sunday.....good job its fairly local or i would struggle to get there
