One good thing about RW-they never reuse old articles a few years later...

I remember reading this article in Runnersworld a year or so ago-this latest version looks very familiar.
Nothing new in the text, and although RW have updated the shoe lists with new models, in some cases they haven't even updated the descriptions of the shoes (See orthotic-wearers section , Kumo and 765 as prime examples)
I know that the same material crops up again and again, for new readers, but they could at least attempt to rewrite the article rather than just blatantly 'copying and pasting'!

So once I've got about 18 months' worth of RW copies, I should cancel the subscription and just re-read them on some kind of a rota basis?

The original article did indeed appear in RW 1999. But fret not. It's not going into the magazine again - it's an updated addition to our web archive.
We spent half a day updating the original with current shoes and links. The reasoning - we hoped it was useful then; we hope it'll be useful now.
You're right about the 765/Kumo comments though - it was getting late and it was a pretty huge set of articles to chunk through. Anyway, thanks. They're corrected now.
