I was meandering across the bridge and I think I spotted a number of Serpies. Do you ever start your runs nearer the City or do I have to get over to Paddington? Can you recommend a "city starting" club? I work in Bermondsey...

Yes, there were a whole bunch of Serpies around last night, running along the river and crossing various bridges. Part of our programme of Wednesday longer runs intended especially for people running in the FLM, or another spring marathon.

You are welcome to join us: I think there are details of the longer runs on the web-site - Nick Slade is the organiser. But we are still starting these runs from the Seymour centre. It's not too far from Bermondsey on the Jubilee line.
