Hmmm, have found some Rotterdam marathon results, but as there is no one listed as Poddler and i don't know her other name it looks like i'll be baisting my breasts until she gets back. Hurry up Poddles. I want to know all the gory detals.
Haven't run at all since Thur. Have been feeling mentally carp. Will try to get out tonight as i know it will make me feel better.
Don't know how far to go tonight. Was going to do 14 on Sun as was out all day Sat. Come Sunday morning was feeling mentally carp and went shopping with Mr EF and his sister instead. Then we went to his parents for Sunday lunch and i had rather too much to drink. Was thinking about doing 8 tonight. I don't suppose it really matters about distance now does it as am tapering? Not sure though.
The most important thing for you now is confidence and enjoyment. So go out and plod. If you are having fun, plod a long way, if not then plod a short plod. All you need to do is give your legs a run out, get them nice and warm then stretch off.
Don't forget that you can do more harm than good at this point. You've done your hard work, it's time to step back and have fun.
((((EF)))) Just like XB says, do what ever you feel like doing. Take it easy, its supposed to be enjoyable, not stressfull. Just put on your shoes and do what feels good.

Ta XB. Am not really wibbling about the mara though (well, ok, a little bit!), more life in general! I just dreaded the thought of going out yesterday. Will force myself out tonight though cos i know i'll feel better after.
Hey guys just got back from chiropractor and it is good news I am mending well, the half marathon is still out he thinks my pelvis is too fragile and it is too soon but I have a climbing weekend in a month and he thinks I should be ok for that and any future marathons should not be out of my reach how cool is that.
I am going back in a week and then he might say I can swim and pilates so I am still walking until then.
