Saturday 3rd July, Cheviot Hills, Northumberland.
This is a classic fell run and a challenge for walkers extending 20 miles into the heart of the Cheviot hills, including Cheviot and Hedgehope, with 4000ft of accumulate climb. 8 check points must be visited in correct order and essential equipment, clothing and provisions must be carried by each individual.
There are 3 categories: A - fast runners; B - slow runners; C - walkers. Maximum field of 300. Entries now open.
Recently described as 'Northumberland's leading fell race and possibly one of the toughest in the country'.
Having done this twice myself I can strongly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a challenge!
