I'm just on my way to bed but I thought I'd just say s a quick hello.
I'm Al, I am a complete starter to running / jogging but I'm starting my 0 to 5k tomorrow.
I'm overweight by quite a bit but I'm losing (5.5st in 7 months) and I'm hoping running and cycling 2-3 times a week for short periods is going to provide me with some of the exercise I need to help me.

I started running about 35 years ago as an unemployed, overweight, smoker.
not looked back, have had spells of cycling but never more than a week of inactivity since.
moved up to ultra distance recently.
absolutely love it.

Impressive weight loss so far - I'm sure the running will help, and will also make you feel great (initiall after the run rather than during, but that will come later).
